Product Introduction
Our Water-Based Ink for Corrugated Cartons is specifically engineered for high-performance flexographic printing on corrugated paper. It delivers vibrant colors, strong coverage, sharp dot definition, and a high-gloss finish.
A key feature of this ink is its exceptional thermal stability; it withstands temperatures up to 200°C, making it fully suitable for high-temperature carton laminating and compounding processes. Simultaneously, the formula is safe and eco-friendly, featuring low VOC emissions and virtually no odor.
Usage Instructions
- Preparation: Stir thoroughly before use to ensure a uniform composition.
- Compatibility: Do not mix with water-based inks from other brands.
- Maintenance: Keep containers covered to prevent dust contamination and skinning (drying). If residual ink contains impurities, filter it before mixing with fresh ink.
- Viscosity: Always test viscosity before loading the machine. For optimal adaptability and print quality, we recommend a printing viscosity of 8–12 seconds.

Operating Recommendations
Dilution Ratio:
Suggested water addition is less than 10%, depending on ambient temperature and humidity.
Anilox Roller:
Recommended 400-600 line screen for optimal ink transfer.

If stopped for more than 30 minutes, flush the ink path thoroughly with water.
FAQ for SC3000
Q1: Can this ink be used for printing on recycled corrugated boards?
A: Yes, our water-based ink is specifically formulated to adhere well to both virgin and recycled corrugated boards. Its strong penetration and coverage ensure consistent color and print quality even on rough or porous recycled surfaces.
Q1: How should I store unused ink to maintain its quality?
A: Store the ink in a cool, dry place at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Always keep the container tightly sealed to prevent skinning and contamination. Properly stored, the ink has a shelf life of 12 months.
Q1: What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) and lead time?
A: Our standard Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) is 20KG per color. We pride ourselves on fast service; for confirmed orders, we typically arrange shipment within 3 days after receiving payment.
Q1: What is the recommended drying method for printed cartons?
A: The ink dries quickly through evaporation and absorption. For optimal results, we recommend using hot air drying systems or infrared (IR) dryers in your flexographic printing line. The ink’s fast-drying properties also support high-speed printing up to 450 meters per minute.
Q1: Can I adjust the ink’s viscosity with water?
A: Yes, you can use clean water to adjust the viscosity, but we recommend adding no more than 5% water by volume to avoid compromising the ink’s print performance and color strength. Always measure viscosity with a Zahn cup before printing.
